Ask Yourself a Question...
...Why? Why is iFIT No Longer Honoring Their iFIT Coach Membership Cards/Codes?

I sit here, on a Saturday morning, @ 2:11 am, on my recliner. I fell asleep watching the New York Yankees baseball game, trying to catch history in the making. Hoping to watch Aaron Judge hit his 62nd homerun of the season, breaking Roger Maris’ American League single season record for homeruns.
I ponder whether I should get up, brush my teeth, floss, and then settle into my bed to sleep the night away?
Before I do, I must write this article asking a question that needs to be asked… Why has iFIT decided to no longer honor their 1-year iFIT Coach Membership cards/codes?
If you bought yourself a NordicTrack or ProForm exercise bike, treadmill, elliptical, rower, etc., in the past few years, it most likely came with a free year of iFIT. That free year was for an iFIT Coach Membership. The Coach Membership allowed you to have a Primary user account and four (4) additional Family members.
The Coach Membership is essentially the same as a Family Membership. It has the same five (5) total accounts.
Sometime early this year, iFIT Health and Fitness (formerly known as ICON Health and Fitness), the parent company that owns brands iFIT, NordicTrack, ProForm, and other sports products, decided to stop providing a free year of iFIT to all new owners of their exercise equipment. You now receive only a free month of iFIT. Actually a smart business move. Provide a free month so new owners could whet their exercise appetite and then subscribe to an iFIT Family membership/subscription, which would run you $39 a month or approximately $400 a year.
Applause here… it really was a smart business move which brought in millions of dollars in additional revenue. Speaking of revenue, if we go back in time…
…back in time to the onset of the global pandemic, which caused an incredible surge in demand for home-based fitness, we find that iFIT was at the forefront of that rising tide. In 2019, global revenue for the company was $700 million. That grew to $851 million in 2020 and ballooned to over $1.7 billion in fiscal year 2021. Not bad for a home-based fitness company.1
Then why, all of a sudden 🤔 is iFIT no longer honoring the thousands of 1-year iFIT Coach Memberships that were inside every box that contained one of their “smart" exercise machines?
When you open the plastic seal that encases the iFit Coach Membership card, which sits neatly against a cardboard backing, it reveals a 16-letter code; your digital key to a fabulous 1-year of iFit membership!
IFIT > IT'S WHAT YOU DO NEXT.
Ok, back to reality. When you try to redeem that beautifully retro-colored plastic card at the www.ifit.com/register website, you have a surprise waiting for you…
That activation code is no longer valid.
🥺 …activation code is no longer valid.
😵💫 … no longer valid.
…but wait, iFIT values you as an iFIT member… keep reading…
We value you as an iFIT member and would like to offer you one free month of our iFIT Family Plan.
🙃🤪🤔🤨😐😒🙄🥴😵😵💫😕😟☹️😮😲😳🥺😦😨😰😥😢😭😖😣😩😫😡😠🤬
Translation…
We don't really value you as an iFIT member so we would like to reduce your 1-year iFIT Membership to only 1-month.
…1-year to 1-month
… 1-month!
OK, iFIT — time to answer the $64,000.00 question. WHY?!
Why would you not honor the 1-year iFIT Coach Membership which is the equivalent of the now renamed iFIT Family Membership?
I am looking at one of the iFIT Membership cards, holding the card in my hands, looking to see if there is a hidden expiration date. There isn’t.
Ask yourself a question…
Why is iFIT No Longer Honoring Their iFIT Coach Membership Cards/Codes?
Why?
Why?
Is it because they are desperately trying to catch up to Peloton in annual earnings?
Is it to try and recoup the money they have spent on litigation to protect their patents?
I wish I knew. Dr. NT wishes he knew…
All I know is that in the past year, I made it my goal to buy 100 iFIT 1-year Coach Membership Cards/Codes to give back to my NordicTrack/ProForm community.
I accumulated almost 75 iFIT 1-year Coach Memberships thru various sources. My plan was to hold monthly contests and give away a free year of iFIT Membership to my loyal YouTube viewers. Even though I was able to acquire the iFIT Memberships at reduced rates, I still spent a small fortune hoping to bring new viewers/subscribers to my YouTube channel.
It was a calculated risk that I pondered for a while before diving in head first. Dr. NT was born and away we went into the wild blue yonder…
…
..
.
…wild blue yonder. What does that even mean? Lol
Epilogue
There is a happy ending after all. iFIT is currently offering a one-time courtesy and allowing customers who have a 1-year iFIT Coach Membership Card/Code to redeem it for its full value. You must contact iFIT, by phone, or by email/message, and they will, for a limited time, honor the 1-year iFIT Coach Membership.
Yippee yi yeah!
😀😃😄😁😆😅🙂😉😊🥰☺️😎🤓😜🤪😝
…I have about 50 of my iFIT 1-year Family/Coach Membership Cards/Codes left. I can no longer keep them, hoping to give them away as prizes. I must try and sell them to try and recoup my initial investment.
If you send me an email to DoctorNT0714@gmail.com and in the Subject write: Dr. NT's iFIT SALE, I will offer you the opportunity to buy one of my 1-year iFIT codes to redeem, for the low price of only $125. No need to send any payment until you have successfully redeemed the full year of iFIT Family Membership. Once you have verified the additional year is added to your iFIT membership, only then will I ask for payment.
I am hoping to sell my remaining iFIT Memberships ASAP before iFIT decides to halt their generosity, and no longer redeem the iFIT Coach Membership Cards.
If you own a NordicTrack or ProForm exercise machine and want to extend your iFIT membership for only $125/year, then help me to help you. Write to Dr. NT so that we can write our own ending to this story.
Aaron Judge didn't hit his 62nd homerun of the season last night. He has several more games to break Roger Maris’ American League single season record for homeruns. Keeping fingers crossed he does.
I never got up from my recliner. Instead I spent several hours penning this article, hoping to somehow tickle your brain into asking yourself, WHY?
Time to go brush my teeth, floss, shower, and take on the day.
Enjoy the weekend.
Sincerely,
Dr. NT
